Larbert - Advice please

Hi

I hope you can give me some advice about the Larbert area. We are helping our son buy probably a 2 bed flat (his first owned place) with simple access to Stirling where we went to uni (though a few years ago!) and both Glasgow and Edinburgh for his work and social scene. Originally the plan was to find somewhere in Stirling, maybe a new build etc, but now that looks a bit pricey. Larbert looks to have grown and seems like a good option for transport and driving distance, and there seems to be decent newish looking availability around McCormack Place and close to Larbert station, which would be affordable for a budget if maybe £140k Since we have moved away, we don’t know if the area is nice, quiet, safe, low crime, friendly etc, all things he really wants. Maybe over thinking it but just want to make sure he Is OK! Any Other recommended areas also would be great.
