We have started a new waterbus service running along the Kennet and Avon canal from Bathampton to Bath. The boat is unique in Bath in that it is accessible, having wheelchair and buggy access but also environmentally friendly in that it is electric with solar panels. It is great for families for a walk one way along the canal, maybe lunch at one of the pubs or cafes in Bathampton and a boat trip on the way back. Or a ride one way on the river boat and a return on the canal, a good way to experience both the scenic waterways of Bath.
The boat runs every weekend from April to September, but daily during the B&NES school holidays. Prices are one way Adults £5.00, children 5-10 £3.50, concessions £4.50. Returns are available. We can take up to 12 people so if you would like to make sure that you can get on with a wheelchair or push chair it is best to phone the driver on 07452968844.
We are going to be operating this bank holiday as well supporting the K&A Floating Market at Darlington Wharf, with mini trips available.
We do hope you find this interesting and might see you there , if you would like to know more please see //www.thesirjohnknill.com
