Hi all. Does anyone here live in Teignmouth? We are looking to move early next year and would like to know good areas to buy a house in Teignmouth. And anyone have kids at the primary community school or hazeldown school? And any experience of the secondary community school on exeter road. We already love Teignmouth but always bit scary when moving Kids! They are 7 and 10. Many thanks. X

You know Teignmouth is nothing but hills don't you?
and very big hills and very steep.
Most schools are at the top of some steep hill.

Have you considered Dawlish or even Newton Abbot?

You really ought to think it over before you do actually move?
Just saying

Every primary school in teignmouth is at the top of a hill (unless you go to shaldon!) 😂 But I cant say that’s affected anyone of the thousands of kids who grew up there although my poor mother would probably say otherwise after pushing a double pram up to the then inverteign with three school aged kids walking from near the train station

It depends where you live in Teignmouth! Plus the hill up to the secondary school takes me 3 mins to walk, so not that bad really and i'm not very fit!

Did you move to Teignmouth? I love living here & its a great place to bring up kids :)
