Hello :)

My fiance, Rachel is pregnant and before the baby arrives we would like to settle somewhere in London. Lived for a couple of years in Tottenham, which was very adventurous and now renting in the superb area in Mortlake.

As we will have our new born very soon we decided to look around Raynes Park and we found also a very nice house close to Cannon hill common, on the south side of the A298 Bushey road.

It seems very nice are close to parks and the common. But we don`t have any knowledge if this would be a good area to live and settle with our little family.

Any feedback suggestion and comment would be much appreciate it.

Thank you

It's nice here. Good schools, friendly community and quick train into town. Lots of stuff on the doorstep, parks etc. David lloyd is good. Loads for kids to do. Kingston nearby for good shopping.

Thank you all for the comments.
So if the house is in Cannon Hill Common ward are we still ok and in a nice area? Nice parks indeed around, are they safe though?

So far very positive feedbacks, we just want be sure.

What safety aspects are you worried about?! Most people are more concerned about school catchment areas or frequency of bin collections!!
I used to walk home across the common any hour of day or night. I have never felt unsafe there. Of course, I am sure that burglars and undesirables can be found in the area, but you're not going to stumble across them on the way home from shopping Smile
