What are your rainy day recommendations?

That's it school holidays are in full swing. I'd say summer but well...

Things we get up to:

• Derby Museum (although not open on Mondays)
  
• Matlock Bath arcades and aquarium
  
• Chesterfield Museum and a trip to their big library
  
• Cinema - often taking the train into Derby and therefore using up some rainy day time.
  
• Soft plays - although that's probably a given
  
• Trampoline park
  

And of course sticking on the wellies and going out in it anyway. Monsal Trail is a favourite because of Hassop Station Cafe.

Oh and Crich Tramway Museum. I completely forgot it now has a small soft play area so in between going up and down on trams you can cover from the rain and if it stops you have the bonus of the nature walk.
