Which nursery? Stroud Green or North Islington

We have places at both for our very active 3 year old- I was really impressed by outside space/activities at North Islington but am intrigued by revamp at SG ( despite having heard not such great things about the running of the nursery pre new head). I've heard that the new head at SG is impressive but her last school was rated unsatisfactory by Ofsted. It's also hard to decide when you can't see the finished renovation before choosing. If anyone has recent experience of either I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks

Came across this thread when I was looking for something else - sorry it's too late for the OP but just thought I'd mention that I don't think it's right that the heads previous school was rated inadequate. Latest Ofsted rating for chestnuts school was "good". Both nurseries are great imo, though only have personal experience of Stroud green. We chose it because it offered much more flexibility over days than north Islip, and is handier. My older DD went to its previous incarnation and I liked it then but the refurb and the joining up of the two nurseries has been a big improvement

Hi Grumpy, I am 5 2 and small framed too. I got down from 11 2 to 8 7 over four months this year, but was surprised to see I still had lovely layers of back and stomach fat. I am therefore aiming for 7 13 by the end of the year/early next year, and will reassess then. Three pounds down to 8 4 this week, which is great.

Until 30/my second child, I was always probably around the 7 stone mark, like my sister. Am not aiming for this, but under 8 stone might help. Will then start exercising too.

Well done for all the losses today.

I attended the North Islington nursery. However that was back in the mid 70s. It was ok from what I can remember.

North Islington Nursery is fantastic, both my children went there and had wonderful care. They have an amazing outdoorspace like Telitubbies on steroids. Fresh cooked food every day, their staff stay there for decades and are well trained, I couldnt fault it.

North Islington is good. One of my friend's child has been put there and she is loves it.
