CALLING ALL WOMEN WHO WANT TO CREATE A SUPPORTIVE CREATIVE THRIVING 'COMMUNITY'

I am just testing the waters here but I have an idea...

Being and becoming a mum is not what it used to be anymore, let me explain.

In the past women were initiated into motherhood by a community of women around them with stories, rites of passage etc. All we have now is a baby shower and then its all over!

Yes yes there are forums like this and 'baby and toddler' mornings and an array of different strains of healthcare professionals telling you what you should and shouldn't be doing , eating, thinking, feeling but I'm talking about real women meeting in a real setting talking and sharing in a relaxed environment free of judgement and offering real support and advice from experience.

I also have an ulterior motive here , I am looking to form real friendships for my children and myself. I want them to see and know people from all walks of life and have a broad mind. I want them to grow up amongst genuine people in order to let them know the world is a good place with plenty of good people as its so easy to think the opposite in these times we find ourselves in.

We are all so disconnected nowadays despite the internet etc, there is less real community than ever. We all need eachother as women as we gain strength from one another and there is power when we join together, how are you ? Does this sound like something you would be interested in? PM for more
