Moving to Tilehurst

So, we are currently in the process of buying a new house in Tilehurst. It's all going to be quite stressful, especially the school and childcare thing.

I have a 6 year old girl and our nearest primary will be Long Lane with Westwood Farm a close second (we will be in the catchment for both). Any ideas what are chances are like at getting a space in either?

I also work full time and will be needing school pick up, afternoon care as well as holiday care. We currently live in the Katesgrove are of Reading and the options are really limited, can anyone make any recommendations for me?

Moving will be a whole lot less stressful if I can put my worries to rest around school and childcare.
