Public Service Announcement re Addenbrooke's access

It was announced this morning that the Biomedical Campus are restarting the automatic number plate recognition cameras on Addenbrooke's Road (link between Shelford Road and Hills Road). From 22nd May if you use Addenbrooke's Road to cross the Campus site (ie not to visit the site), you will be fined £50. www.cambridge-news.co.uk/news/cambridge-news/hundreds-drivers-set-fined-using-12993040 . Bad timing given the hold-ups already happening on Hills Road at the moment ...

I thought the same regarding the timing. It would seem to make more sense to perhaps get the Hills Road/Long Road works out of the way before going down the enforcement route (excuse the pun)!
