Running buddy needed in Salisbury...amateur ;)

Hi, I am Danielle, I live in Salisbury and have 3 and 2 year old girls. I used to run years ago before I had babies and I would love to get back into it. I have never run 'seriously', but would love to set myself a challenge and run a 5k, then a 10k and maybe even a half marathon this year....possibly progressing to a full marathon in the future. I find it so difficult to stay motivated and make 5million excuses not to run. I want to do it for the sense of achievement I know It will give me but also as a way of losing weight and getting fit. I wonder if there are any like-minded mums in Salisbury that would be interested in being my running buddy and taking on this challenge with me... we can keep each other motivated to run and to stay away from the biscuit jar. Another commment on an older message but I'll be moving to the area in June and will be very much in the same position as you. I started running in January (walk/run that is) and just completed my first half - if dragging myself over the finish counts!

Look on Facebook for Sarum Sisters , Salisbury Trail runners , Muddy Runners .
Lots of low key running groups with room for every pace .
