Baby Boxes are now available to all mums-to-be at North Middlesex Hospital. Families who receive a Baby Box will also have access to a useful and free maternal and childcare education platform throughout their pregnancy. Baby Box University gives parents access to a number of videos created by a team of doctors and midwives at North Middlesex University Hospital, to help reduce the risk of infant mortality during pregnancy and the first year of life.
We also have lots of other exciting pregnancy initiatives happening at the unit, including tours and hypnobirthing classes. Guided tours of the unit are open to all women who are planning to have their baby at North Middlesex. These tours take place on the first and third Friday of the month at 6pm.To book, you can call Maternity Direct: 020 8887 4238 (Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm).
Hypnobirthing classes are also on offer. Hypnobirthing is an alternative birth education programme that teaches simple but specific self-hypnosis, relaxation and breathing techniques for a better birth.Hypnobirthing is a complete antenatal education that will equip you with knowledge and understanding on how hypnobirthing works within the whole process of pregnancy and birthing experience.
