Befrienders to Elderly- what that all about then?
well, popping in on an elderly person for an hour or so to help them with little bits and bobs they can no longer manage, such as making them a meal, walking them to the shops, doing a bit of vaccuming. Or having a cup of tea and a chat with them, looking through old photos and reminising perhaps. Could you do this? We are looking for people who can commit to just a few hours a week paid work doing this role. We offer free training to all of our Caregivers so if you want to join us and can do 2/3 days training in Jan 2015 I'd love to hear from you...Rachel 01949480480
