Stokcport MSLC Next Meeting

Hi,

Just a reminder that the next Stockport MSLC meeting is next Tuesday at Stepping Hill Women's Unit! Our 'Hot Topic' this month is the 'Stockport Early Parenting Programme'.

Stockport Early Parenting Partnership aims to support parents and infants to get the best start in life, by working with parents who need support in building their relationship with their baby or young child. This may be in situations where there is a vulnerability such as prematurity or poor mental or physical health. They are also working to improve awareness and knowledge across the childrens workforce to help with this goal.

Maura Appleby, one of the Locality Managers for the Integrated Children’s Service, will be speaking about Stockport Early Parenting Partnership and showing a DVD that all parents will be receiving. It's going to be a very informative evening. I hope you can come along and feel free to bring a friend.
