Hi there, as some of you may be aware if you're on Twitter or Facebook, I am your local editor for Fife. I've just come back from holiday last week so this is the first chance I've had to say hello and welcome to Mumsnet Local Fife. So my tan's fading fast but I'm really keen to build up this local site and I would be interested to hear about any ideas or suggestions to put in the what's on guide. What do you guys think about bringing up a family in Fife and what things do you like to do and places to go?

I live and work in Fife and have been a mumsnetter for about 5 years since I was pregnant with my now 4 year old daughter. We mainly like going to the park and doing crafty things at home. She loves soft play and so do I because it means I can get a cuppa in peace while she tires herself out - win win.
