Can anyone recommend a domestic cleaner?

Hi, I'm looking for a cleaner, have been let down the last few weeks by people not turning up, or turning up and not doing a very good job!
Just want someone reliable and thorough, quite happy for it to be an individual rather than a cleaning company.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
