We have two tickets to see the the National Theatre Live broadcast of The Audience with Helen Mirren - in the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy on 13th June.

National Theatre Live will broadcast the highly-anticipated West End production of The Audience, with Helen Mirren reprising her Academy Award winning role as Queen Elizabeth II, live from London's Gielgud Theatre on 13 June.

To win the two tickets, post on this thread with the answer to the following question:

Which person would you most like to have an Audience with, and why?

All entries will be put into the Mumsnet Fife Shortbread Tin, which will be given a good shoogle before a winner is drawn.

I would like to have an Audience with Tina Fey.

She's a comedy genius, so she'd make me laugh.

She's a mum, and totally down-to-earth - we'd compare stories about how wonderful and hard and awful and awesome motherhood is.

She's a brilliantly successful woman in a male-dominated environment - I need to know her secret!

She might also introduce me to Alex Baldwin <faints>

Tina Fey is brilliant. I read her autobiography last year and really enjoyed it.

Not sure about Alec Baldwin. Have heard he can be a bit unfriendly <understatement>

Well I would love to have an audience with Simon Baker from the Mentalist - for wholly dishonorable reasons!

Am I supposed to put something a bit more intellectual here? I did meet the Dalai Lama once - lots of smiling :-)

I would love to have an audience with Benedict Cumberbatch.

A small, intimate type audience.

Although, my reasons are not dishonourable like SandersteadMum, its his voice, I would happily sit there listening to him read stories, any stories.

At the moment though, I think there is a danger that it would send me to sleep (knackered) so I really don't think Mr Cumberbatch really wants to read me bedtime stories. He might be used to having fans drooling after him, but I think the drooling/snore combination I will no doubt be displaying, might put him off just slightly blush

Haha, love how our suggestions all feature a male, for not altogether intellectual reasons grin

Bill Clinton. I heard he has some out of this world aura when you meet him in person. I'd like to see if I think so!

TeaAndTunnocks Tue 28-May-13 10:32:35

yes, we are slightly focussed on certain aspects

oooh, Bill Clinton is a good one. I would love to meet Hilary.

There are so many people I would love to meet - Mary Robinson was charming and brilliant at an event last year.

Clare Balding looks like she would be great fun.

Stephen Fry, he's funny, entertaining, intelligent and I think time spent with him would be brilliant.

FiferFanny Mon 03-Jun-13 23:11:30

I would have an audience with David Cameron and ask him why he is such a cunt.

I have to announce the winner on FB and Twitter

Do you want to have another go, with a reason that I can put on Social Media if your name is drawn out of the hat?

FiferFanny Mon 03-Jun-13 23:26:03

Lol, u could use the word pillock instead of the naughty one. :-)

TeaAndTunnocks Mon 10-Jun-13 16:57:49

I would like to have an audience with Helen Mirren actually.
I've a teeny crush on Dame Helen, I think she is both clever and beautiful and I want to be her when I grow up smile
