6 month old Not Babbling at all, please help!

Hi all,

I hope somebody will have words of encouragement or share a similar story. My 6.5 month old hasnt babbled. . .at all. I mean he has not uttered a single consonant - should I be worried? He does scream for food, laugh, make lovely eye contact, watches his Sister closely but stays silent for most of the day. I was happy to be blessed with such a charming quiet baby but this is starting to drive me nuts. We have a hearing test but Im sure his hearing is normal. What do you think? SHould I stop worrying for a while? Or do I have too much time on my hands being a full time Mother?
