Mini-meet in Eglinton Park today and future meets... coffee and a walk

yay1975 and I had coffee and millionaires' shortbread and a very muddy walk today and it was lovely, sadly KilwinningMacDog had a poorly DD and couldn't make it... so we're thinking about doing something similar in the next couple of weeks, maybe a little closer to Irvine, or at least a bus route for Yay - she's going to come up with some ideas - so post here if you'd like to join us!

That sounds brilliant, looking forward to the next meetup!
I'm available mostly during school times, though my youngest is SN and regularly-ish stays off school - each day as it comes generally :)

Hello ColG, would love you to join us and totally understand if you have to call off for your youngest, equally if she or he is able, then bring DC with you - it's all very relaxed and no-one would mind if you or your DC need some space or to leave suddenly or whatever you and your DC need, hope you know what I mean.. it's hard to predict what would be useful to you when SN is such a broad term! (my experience is with epilepsy, autism and extreme behaviour in 14-19 year olds, but it was a while ago)

Is Irvine convenient for you? Irvine suits Yay (who doesn't drive), Kilwinning Macdog is in (unsurprisingly) Kilwinning, we also have an MNer in Largs who would like to join us, but works, so isn't always available, also there's another MNer is Ayr (which is outside our N. Ayrshire remit - but is hardly far away) who has disabilities and would need assistance to join us and wouldn't be able to do a 'muddy walk' as she uses crutches

Just thinking how we manage the next meet - so do tell what suits you!

Or maybe the next meets - no need for everyone to get their wellies on, could just be coffee and a cake or anything else anyone can think of
