Roundhay/Oakwood/Gledhow mums

I'll be starting my second maternity leave mid-March 2010 (I've got a 21 month old son) and I'm trying to meet some more mums locally.

I currently work 4 days a week from 7.45-6.30pm and I've found it difficult to meet other mums because of that. I've got to return to work after 6 months again (October 17th is D-day) this time with the same working pattern, so I'd like to make the best of my second maternity leave and meet some other mums in Roundhay/Oakwood/Gledhow.

I've found it difficult to infiltrate the already-established local groups, not least because I'm not the earth-mother, stay-at-home mum I'd like to be able to afford to be! I'm happy to meet up, drink tea and watch chaos unfold with toddlers and babies around. Any advice about making the transition from one to two also much appreciated.
