Single mum moving in the next couple of months with my 3 year old son. I have enough money to buy a boat for us to live on but where to moor is a problem. Does anyone of you lovely mums know somewhere or someone I could ask?

Thanks very much.

I don't know what sort of boat you have in mind but there are moorings for houseboats in Shoreham by sea if that helps at all. It's not far from Brighton and would come under Adur Council.

My first thought was Shoreham too.

I know nothing about it except I love to have a nosey at all the different boats as I run past.

Some of them look amazingenvy

Yes and some of them look as though they are about to sink.wink

I would love to have one too but I get sea-sick so probably not a good idea.

Thanks so much for your info. Since I posted the question my house sale has fallen through so I am not under so much time pressure. .
Nice to know you guys are out there.
