Colin the Caterpillar cakes in USA?

Any expats living in the US know of any stores that sell Colin the Caterpillar cakes (or copycat versions)?

(I am fully aware that baking one at home is feasible, so please don't give baking advice on this thread. I would just like to know if any stores in the US sell ready-made caterpillar cakes. Thank you.)

Never used them, or heard of them when we were abroad, but Caterpillar Cakes

Thanks @DancesWithDaffodils, but their shipping cost to the US is exorbitant: for $20 worth of goods, shipping is close to $80 !!!

I've used other online stores like British Corner Shop (reasonable shipping costs) but they don't carry caterpillar cakes. Sad

Yeah, BCS was where I looked initially.
Good luck with the hunt. I can understand not wanting to pay that shipping!!

Bumping this, now that Colin and his other caterpillar friends (enemies?) in the UK have been getting a lot of publicity thanks to M&S suing Aldi for their Cuthbert the Caterpillar! All this talk about caterpillar cakes makes me itch to buy one in the US. Cake

www.britsuperstore.com/uk/browse-by-section/marks-and-spencer-food/marks-and-spencer-cakes.html?p=2

This website looks like they would ship it, but presumably are sold out

Can you get one of your UK contacts to ship one over?

www.britishonlinesupermarket.com/marks-spencer.html

This website says to message them if they don’t stock something you want

Thanks, but I'm hesitant to order online through these individual "one-man-show" websites (where a single person buys individual items from Tesco or Sainsbury's and posts them, unlike bigger businesses like British Corner Shop which has a large inventory and standardised shipping). I'm also worried about food shipping standards, expiry dates, etc. If only there were a bulk seller of imported caterpillar cakes in the US!

It doesn’t look very difficult to make:
