Financial advisers - any recommendations?

We’ve just moved back to the UK after 4 years in the US and are looking for a financial adviser who has a good understanding of US and UK pensions, tax etc. Unfortunately my partner’s company and our US accountant were rubbish and now we’re having to sort out a lot complications - I’d like to avoid any more nasty surprises!
