Hello

We are applying for FS2 Kings Barsha, can I have honest feedback? If I ask on Dubai British Mums I think some mother's may be scared of giving negative feedback! Is it worth the fees? Our son is currently at Safa Private School which I believe is excellent for foundation years but is not challenging enough in later years.

I would love for him to go to Jebel Ali School since the fees are considerably less, or to DESS. They are both outstanding and more established. However, I believe it is hard to get in, I am going to apply at Jebel Ali today though for year 1 2017/2018, and in October I will apply to DESS for Year 1 2017/2018.

I just would appreciate some feedback, because I want the best for my son and I just started a new job and I can not handle another source of mum guilt!!!

Thank you ladies

Why would they be scared of giving negative feedback :s

I have no experience with kings Barsha myself but the Dubai ministry of education has a good ranking system, so if you google the school you should be able to see how it's ranked.

As them to PM you. I'm sure you will be inundated with opinions 😄. It is a relatively new school, as no doubt you know. However it's sister school in umm suqeim has an excellent KHDA rating. Many people rate it as a school, children from the families of the rulers go there (along with many other schools). There is great emphasis on its Britiahness.
JAPS also has a great reputation and KHDA rating. However it is moving to a nelocation with somewhat difficult access, in September. Nobody knows how this will transpire.
A significant number of people. Ove their children at will to different schools for any number of reasons. And all children have friends from most schools due to outside school activities. HTH.
Do t be afraid of British Mums DXD. They are a bit feisty but generally tell the truth.
