Hello Ladies.

Almost 100% sure we are now moving (back) to Hong Kong this summer.
Our almost 9yr old has very mild epilepsy and so we need to get cracking with organising his meds for when we arrive.

I found internationaldoctorslimited.com based in Central. Are they good? Hard to tell on the internet.
We have friends in HK with kids, but just thought I would ask.

We will also need to find a paediatric neurologist, but am hoping that once GP service has been established, we can work on that. Also fairly sure our current UK based specialist will be able to help.

Thanks in advance.

Dr thondup has a great reputation but i think he is retiring soon.
Dr Sophia Kennely is well regarded Too. Lots of very good local paeds too. Depends were you are based.
I had a look for you on the HK moms FB page and Dr Dawson Fong seems like the top paed. Neuro sugeon.

Not familiar with the practice you mentioned.
Island health family practice (on Duddel street & also soutside and discovery bay) is very popular with expats.

Laptop, that's great, thanks very much. I will look into that.
I've also been recommended OT&P. They seem to have practises all over the island, Kowloon and NT.
Not completely sure where we will live, but thought I had better get to grips with docs.
again, thanks for the imput.

Hi, laptop.

A friend swears by them.
Will check them all out.

Bigfox thank u. Will join hk moms FB once DH has signed his contract.
I have been holding out on joining online things and signing up for stuff in case the move fell thru. Pretty sure it won't, but waiting never the less.

Thanks x

Another option is Dr Angela Lau. She used to be at Central Health/ Island Health but has now set up on her own. She is my DC's paediatrician and is very thorough and has a nice manner.

OT&P are very good - they have GPs, gynaecologists, paediatricians etc across their clinics.
