No, I don't think it's too late. I have lived overseas and have known people who went abroad at a more mature age.

Where are you thinking about going?

We've had some fab older teachers. The last couple left the middle east and went to Vietnam. They are having a great time.

I do hope you are looking at the TES Teaching Overseas thread, plenty of advice and information from people who have been there and done that.

Overseas teaching positions tend to be on fixed term contracts (2 - 3 years). The company is taking very few risks when they take someone on. The are mostly interested in your experience, so being older is a bonus. You won't know until you try.
