Aunt diagnosed with Leukemia - what can I do/give?

Hi All,

Just been given the terribly sad news that my aunt has been diagnosed with acute leukemia, I don't know what the prognosis is but I would really like to send something to her to let her know that she is in my thoughts. I wondered if anyone had any nice ideas of something I could send? Also would like to give a card but struggling to find the right words to write....would really appreciate any advice!

Thanks

Hi sorry about your Aunt.I would think some flowers or toiletries or a feminine scarf or something cheerful that you know she likes.the card is really up to you.when Mum and Dad were diagnosed as incurable i just wrote that i was sorry to hear their news and let them know the whole family were behind them should they need anything,Definately no get well soon cards as it is amazing how many they got and trivialises the situation.

We sent my uncle talking books when he was really ill. I'm told he really appreciated them.
