Hi, in a bit of a headspin so I’ll try to be brief...
My mum died intestate back in March, finally have grant of probate. my sibling and I are the only beneficiaries. The house she owned has no mortgage. Property is not on title register. We therefore need to get in on register and transfer into our joint names before it can be sold. So I have forms AP1, AS1 and the ID1s to complete. Do I really need a conveyancer? Although daunting I think we can do it, my sibling wants to use a legal advisor. He has tried to book an appointment with a local conveyancer but they are booked up for at least two weeks... not to mention the costs of course. Any advice would be gratefully received.
