Stbxh & I were married for just over a year.

I sent off the D8 forms today.

What's next once they receive them?

I didn't apply for any financial orders as we've only been married a short time and he's paying maintenance already for DS2 (2) (DS, 6) not his but he's been his father figure since 1)

He worked and I was a SAHM which is what he wanted. We have no interest in each other's property. We did wonder if all of one person's debts could be taken on by another (mine to him

I'm now on benefits and can't afford a solicitor neither can he, so just wanting to know what to expect

You slipped up not applying for financial orders. All for the sake of ticking a box. You do realise that ticking the box doesn't constitute an actual application? It means you can issue an application later on. There's still time to change it. I suggest you take some legal advice.

How did I?

He has nothing, I don't want anything.
