Hi all, I'm at a complete loss as to what to do here. About 2.5 years ago my landlord decided to sell the property, we found somewhere else to live and asked if we could give 1 month's notice (he gave us 3 months, but we couldn't afford to pay 2 London rents). It was accepted but the same day the estate agent cancelled my parking permit, not even telling me. So cue me getting about 12 parking tickets for not displaying a valid ticket. After the second, I rang up and asked why as I had the permit. They told me it had been cancelled by my building management (an estate agency). The estate agency refused to accept liability or reissue another permit meaning I was collecting all these fines. A year later, after a massive battle they agreed to contact the parking company and cancel the fines and then I heard nothing more. However today I have received a letter from the solicitors saying they are still chasing the debt of one of the parking tickets. What would you all do? Ignore, call the debt recovery company or go ape shit with the estate agents?
