I have an elderly relative that moved house about 20 years ago, and only has a paper license which he needs to swap for a photo card (it's still valid). Unfortunately he was caught doing 35 in a 30 zone so is attending a speeding course in about 2 months.
Unfortunately he hasn't updated his address, I have offered to help him as he gets a bit stressed when it comes to paperwork etc but he is now worried that he is going to get a fine for updating his details as they have been incorrect since his divorce! It's a £1000 fine if he arrives at the speeding course with an incorrect license, or if he gets stopped by the police.
Am I right in thinking he can't get 'done' for updating his details?
