How do I know if I have a good solicitor for child issues? May be a silly question

More information? What do you need to occur? I am a Lawyer though not a family lawyer. A lot of the law is process so you want an organised solicitor.
Also a direct dial so they can't hide behind a switchboard.

As a rule being prepared to pay a sensible price is a good start, don't necessarily go for the cheapest

Personal recommendation always helps.

Not sure that helps.
