Hello from a long time lurker!
We have a skip from a fairly big local company to dispose of some rubble
It was filled safely to the appropriate level and DH phoned them a week ago to arrange collection, then 6 days ago, then 5 days - you get the picture
Over the weekend somebody has piled a huge amount of stinking fetid food waste on the top, its disgusting and is now home to a fly colony
The skip people came to collect EVENTUALLY today but have refused to take it as its overfilled
I phoned the council as DH is still at work who basically arent bothered about the fly tipping
Theres no way Im allowing DH to fill our car with this stinking mess to dispose of it ourselves, and to be honest why should we anyway? If the skip people had come when we asked them not a week later this would not be an issue
The skip is on the road outside our house, it did have lights but these have stopped working and I imagine the skip licence has run out too
Can anybody advise on how best to tackle this ghastly problem please?
Thank you
