How would u go about arranging household bills? I will be buying a small house with cash. My dp will not be on the deeds. He is not good with money and we are currently working on paying off the last of his credit card debts? I earn more than him and don't mind contributing whatever but in view of his history I also want some degree of protection if things ever went wrong, which I am not expecting. Thank you very much for your advice. I'm not a greedy person, I just want to be fair to him now but secure I would still have my house if things didn't work out.
Would it be better to get him to pay into his own savings account for holidays etc and I pay all bills. At the moment I pay rent and he pays bills.
