Does anyone else run out of birthday present ideas for subsequent children?

We have 4 dd's and dd3 will be 2 next sunday but we have no idea what to buy her for a present, we already have trikes, bikes, prams, pushchairs dollies etc etc that are dd1 and dd2's.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

yep.

We have everything, or have had everything, big stuff, (kitchen) has ended up being garden toys.

I'm really struggling for christmas tbh, am scouring carboots on a weekly basis.

ds, (12 next month) has asked for all 3 chelsea kits so that's what he'll get.

We do, and we've only got 3 DC. 3yo DS has all the toys he could possibly need for the next 5 years at least.

That said, as some of the toys are getting quite eldery they do sometimes break, providing a good present opportunity. So he got a brand new shiny red boy's scooter for his birthday because 11yo DD1 broke the original (slightly girly) one showing DS how to use it

Don't run out of ideas. Just run out of money. And space.

Like Belgo, we just run out of money and space.

Space definitely. I am trying to ask people to get small things for our DCs. We have a large extended family and end up with tons of stuff at Christmas/birthdays.

I think we have settled on play food and cooking equipment for the kitchen she got last year and a huge plastic trunk to keep it all in, does this seem like a decent pressie for a 2 year old?

Animals you can never have too many animals according to DD2, ELC do these little metal cases of animals and you can add more to it.

ELC do dinosaurs too

My DD1 is the dolly/pram/barbie girl
DD2 dinosaurs/animals/trains/cars

Don't know about DD3 although she does like driving her cars about the floor, I am struggling about what to get her for Christmas as well.

I'm working on the "trips" out with friends and relatives rather than clutter gifts for them.
