Negative at 7dp5dt is there any hope left??

Good morning, I’m 8dp5Dt today and yesterday morning I tested on a frer and got a negative, no sign of a second line what so ever. I spent the day coming to term with this round is more than likely over for us now. Has anyone else had this and ended up having a positive on test day?? I’d love a little bit of hope even if it’s just enough to get me through the next few days. I know it might have been a little early but I’ve promised me husband I won’t test again and will just go for my blood test on Thursday.
I would just like some advice or hear from other who have been in the same situation has I just don’t know how to feel.

Hi OP sorry but it does sound like this round hasn't been successful- my official test day is 9dp5dt on previous cycles so a FRER should have been able to pick something up by now 💐
