Thought I'd drop a message to see if anyone has had a similar experience. I'm 41 and had 2 rounds of IVF in 2019 plus a miscarriage in 2018. I've always had a fairly regular cycle but once before round 2 and now 3 times after round 2 I've had 16 day cycles. The nurse at the clinic tells me that it can't be anything to do with IVF but surely it must be linked?
Because of my age we're keen to start another round soon but don't want to rush it if the short cycles might be a concern. Maybe my body hasn't recovered from round 2 yet? (Oct-Nov 2019)
We've asked to speak with the consultant about it but I'm guessing we'll get a "it's nothing to worry about" response.
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
