Hi so I have been taking clomid, Gonal F and Menopur and now the other one to stop O. (Sorry so many) I am on a short cycle.

Went for our first scan to see how things are I have a good amount on my right ovary and not so many on the left and quite small.

But my lining is only 4mm and needs to be a minimum of 8mm. If it does not increase by Monday we may have to Freeze all.

Any recommendations please? I am taking brazil nuts but will up to 3, pom juice, and lots of different vits.

thank you :-)

No idea on how to improve lining thickness or indeed if there's anything you can do but I have read that studies show a better implantation rate from frozen embryos, not because of the embryos themselves but because you are not pumped full of the ovulation stimulants, so it's all a bit more "natural" in terms of the environment that embryos encounter or some such. I thought I would mention it in case you end up having to freeze them. And yes, I do understand the frustration and the longing, it's awful, but waiting may actually help in the long run.

I'm not doing ivf until jan or Feb but I asked about this as I've had thin lining before. She said there's things they could prescribe me - I think it was oestrogen, aspirin and even viagra (vaginal suppository) If my lining was looking too thin. Otherwise it would be freeze until later. Maybe ring your clinic and see if they can help? I think it starts with the egg suggests a high level of vitamin e can help (but can't take with aspirin). She also said some clinics will transfer at 6mm and that the triple layer is in a way more important than the thickness.

I guess blood flow would help. I think Bettina Rae on YouTube has a yoga Video on improving lining thickness. That may well be for long term rather than instant help. Worth a look in case.
