Hi everyone,
Over the last year I’ve had 4 miscarriages and have finally seen Prof Quenby in Coventry. I had my first appointment last week with lots of blood tests and have my telephone results in a couple of weeks. In the meantime she has prescribed Cyclogest pessaries from cycle day 21 and aspirin if we get a BFP.
I’ve started taking the cyclogest this weekend and have noticed a couple of side effects. I’ve had 2 raging headaches after I’ve taken the 2 morning doses and then really itchy nipples (...apologies ). They’ve been so itchy they’ve been distracting but it’s not the kind of itchiness you can satisfy by scratching...if that makes sense...more of a tinglyness.
I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?! I’ve had a little look on Dr Google and in the leaflet in the packet but wanted to hear some real life experiences.
Also, if anyone has an success stories using progesterone and aspirin I’d love to hear them...it would be very reassuring!
Thanks, Lou
