Hi Ladies,

I had a positive pregnancy test following an IVF cycle – Had the first Ultrasound check this week and was told that the length of the fetal pole (crown-rump length) is 1.8mm at 5 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy..I am a bit stressed as after reading online I have learned that the length should be somewhere around 4-6mm..Do you have any experience or thoughts to share?

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Alon

Here's a chart of reference ranges: www.hindawi.com/journals/isrn/2012/938583/tab4/

Based on that, your pregnancy is actually measuring a couple of days ahead - but tbh, that early on the measurements are so minute anyway that they're usually happy with anything 5 days either way.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and best of luck.

@Persipan - Thanks for the reply and sharing the chart, you are a real life saver!! We will have our second Ultrasound on Wednesday (6w6d) so hopefully we will see some good progress.

Have an amazing weekend :)
