What would you do?

Hello Ladies,

I have a tough decision ahead and I was wondering if I could get some views...

I am 36 years old, PCOS, had one natural miscarriage early on. My partner is 40 with high sperm fragmentation. We are planning on having two kids.

I had two frozen IVF cycles, which resulted in 5 embryos. They were PGS tested and 2 came back normal.

I am debating whether to transfer one of them now or do a third egg retrieval.

What would you do???

If you really want more than one child and have the funds I would do another retrieval, it would only set you back a few months.

I'd do another cycle if you can afford it - that way you won't feel so much pressure of a first transfer doesn't work out x

Yup another vote for a 3rd cycle. You don't want to look back and think what if...

Personally I would use the embryos I had before considering another cycle. You could end up putting yourself through another cycle for no reason and have left over embryos that you will struggle over what to do with. However, that’s just my opinion. Go with whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Best of luck x
