Anyone out there had ivf age 40+ in London and recommend a clinic? The cost would also be useful.

Thanks in advance.

I’m 39 (and three quarters) and had an ivf cycle at CARE, who were brilliant. Lovely doctors who seem to balance getting the best result with the costs of treatment and avoiding side effects. They explained everything in detail and were patient with all my questions. And you can always get hold of them on the phone, which is so important during treatment - you’ll end up being in there or speaking to them most days.

I would highly recommend Mr Gudi at Fertility Plus on Harley Street. He's amazing. I'm pregnant with my second, first was IUI and this one IVF. He's honestly one of this world's best human beings and a brilliant doctor. Good luck!

Mr Gudi offers a totally bespoke service so cost will depend on your individual treatment. He doesn't do add-ons or anything unnecessary

I had to have various genetic tests and additional drugs, so my costs are not representative, but here’s the price list:

I've had a fresh round at CRGH in conjunction with the nhs. I'll be using them again. They have pretty good stats particularly when you consider that they don't have a strict criteria for patients they'll take on - other clinic a do do this to massage stats.

Have you looked into Access Fertility for funding? You can buy a few rounds of IVF which is discounted and they also offer a refund program. They work with a lot of clinics. I used city fertility but i was 35 so not sure about their 40s success rate, but I can highly recommend them.

@LillyLeaf - I'm 40 so don't think I'm eligibility plus this is our last cycle. We've had 2 cycles that have failed so this has to be our last go.
