Hi,
I am 37 old with unexplained infertility , had my first ivf ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) cycle in last August on NHS which failed and the reason egg quality , I was on short protocol Gonal-f 300 , 7 eggs collected 2 fertilised and transferd second day .
Now we think to do a second cycle with them but this time we have to pay , so I want to know please what is the difference between self finding and personalised care options ? , and if anyone have done the same : first cycle on NHS and second self funded, will I need to do all tests again ? is there any differences on procedures between NHS and Private patients ?
At the follow up appointement after failure the doctor said if I will do the second cycle with me they will try the long protocol with Menopur 300 , is this better ?
I am now taking for my egg quality COq10 Ubiquinol 300mg a day + royal jelly 500mg + omega3 + pregnacare preconception
Sorry for my long topic and lot of questions but I really hope you can help me with your experiences
Thank you
