Bleeding after endo scratch - early period?

Evening,

Looking for anyone who is knowledgeable about bleeding after endometrial scratch. Had procedure done Friday afternoon. Actually had it done at the implantation clinic at UHCW (not my local clinic) as I want uNK cell testing. Had a bit of spotting/‘gritty’ bleeding Friday night/ sat morning. Then this afternoon (Sunday) a Browny dribble following by a bit of red dribble (tbh, exactly how my miscarriages would start -on/off, but obvs not pregnant this month due to going for tests).

So... can the scratch bring your period on early? Is this still from the procedure ( tbh, was only 48 hours ago)? If it’s my period it would be 4 days early ...

Stressing about missing the start of my AF as I would need to take start the progynova for our next FET.

Any advice before clinic opens in the morning gratefully received!

Hi @Blondiecub0109 , how stressful if you need to start meds on first day of period.

I only had a tiny bit of spotting after my scratch and my period started on time. I doubt this info will help you!! I started down regging on the day I had h scratch so didn't have to worry too much about when my period was.

Sorry - hope the clinic are more helpful this morning!

I can't see how it could bring on your period but some spotting is normal.

it's quite normal to get a bit of a bleed after a scratch. Smile

I’ve had the endometrial scratch three times and each time it brought my period on early.

I’m going through the exact same thing now. Scratch on Tuesday, some fairly light, brown spotting since and then today it’s more red and a bit clotty. Still not as heavy as it would normally be though.
My period isn’t due for 3 more days but I know it could have started early due to the scratch. I did have some spotting the night before the scratch anyway so my gut says it’s here.
I’ve had the scratch before but can’t remember what happened afterwards! Confused
