Hello, has anyone had IVF after having cancer treatment? Would love to hear any stories but particularly if anyone has used donated eggs. Was IVF successful or unsuccessful? What IVF medication did you take? Any information would be gratefully received as I start this year looking to have IVF using donated eggs, 5 years after having cancer treatment. Thank you

Hi Sophie
I have no experience of this but bumping for you. My only advice would be to see if there is a board in fertility friends chat room. There are so many knowledgeable ladies over there that someone will be able to point you towards someone with this experience.
Good luck.

Close friend was told that using donated eggs post-Cancer doesn’t result in a reduced pregnancy rate unless it’s some forms of uterine cancer (but you would have been told already if this were the case). I think the clinics are more careful about protocols though - friend will be put on Short and really carefully monitored. Good luck Flowers
