Hi All, I've not posted on one of these site before but am hoping this can help provide some clarity on what's a very confusing issue. Having successfully conceived my son naturally in early 2015 we started thinking about number 2 earlier this year. I've just turned 34. I'd had irregular periods before my first pregnancy and had some tests done that showed my FSH was 16 but didn't do anything about it as I was pregnant the following month (7 months since ttc). When my periods were so irregular again this time I went back to the doctors and it showed I had an FSH of 61! I was referred to a consultant for more tests and scans. Retests showed my FSH has returned to 14.2 but my AMH was very low at 0.5 and the scan only found one ovary with 4 follicles. Off the back of this my consultant was clear that although I could ttc naturally (as I do have periods albeit irregular ones), it was highly unlikely that I'd conceive and that IVF would be a waste of money. My only option is egg donation (I was devastated!) Since then I've come across Create Fertility and natural/mild IVF along with the research they've done on the success of using a breast cancer drug (tamoxifen) to promote better quality eggs being released. My initial consultant warned me off IVF saying some clinics would try but this would be a waste of money. On speaking to create they said it was worth trying and they'd successfully treated women with a lower AMH than mine. I was wondering if anyone is in/has been in a similar position to me as I don't know who to trust and which way to go. Anyone got any experiences of Create themselves (I've been speaking to the Manchester clinic) or used tamoxifen or know of any alternative people to speak to as I feel I need an impartial third party opinion. Thanks in advance for any help you can give
