Help. Jealous of my neighbour

My next door neighbour has a 6 month old daughter.
She knows that I've been TTC for over 3 years, I had a MC earlier this year at 12 weeks and had lots of medical issues since. We aren't best of friends but prior to my pregnancy, we'd meet with our husbands and all go for a drink and catch up every month. Now we don't see each other at all.

The problem is, whenever she messages me to ask how I am or if I want to meet up, she always adds a lengthy paragraph with an update on the baby. I've bumped in to her a few times and EVERY conversation is baby related - mainly about how amazing and complete life is with a child and how people don't know what true love is until they become a parent etc etc.

I know that she doesn't understand; quote: "at least you had an early miscarriage" Angry but her insensitivity has left me with no desire to spend any time with her.

I don't want things to become any more awkward than they already are, and there's only so many times I can turn down her invitations to meet up. I just don't want her to parade her baby in-front of me and go on about how amazing her life is because all it does is make me feel sad and jealous Sad

nothing worse than a baby bore Forever ! I have a child myself but I avoid this type like the plague . On top of that I can only imagine how upsetting this is to you.
I don't think she is even thinking straight to be so insensitive .
I would have no desire to spend time with her either - who wants to talk about poo and nappy's all the time - bore off !
don't take it personally , i can't give you any advice on how to approach this but I would definitely keep avoiding her .
hopefully someone will come along with better advice but I am sorry for your loss Flowers

I would just be honest and tell her that while you are happy for her and would like to spend time as couples it's really difficult to spend time with babies/ talking about babies due to the situation you are in. If she's not cool with that then she will stop inviting you out and problem is solved.

Oh god she's an arsshole, she doesn't deserve your sensitivity. Do what you need to do and don't worry about her.
