How to transport ivf drugs abroad??

We're flying out to our clinic on day 12 of stims, I've got a medical certificate, but my question is more around logistics. It needs to stay refrigerated and we'll be travelling for about 11 hours? Don't think a cool bag and ice pack will cut it, but don't think there is an alternative??
What did others do?
Thanks!

The muscle food ice packs stay cold for about 70 hours, maybe see if you can get your hands on one of those?

I think you must bring it as cabin luggage and bring a receipt. I've never had to travel with any medication (other than perhaps the odd aspirin) but I think I recall having read it somewhere. You'll probably need to have something for keeping it cold, a bag or something. Try googling it.

Hi OP I've not had fertility treatment but use insulin and you can buy special pouches to keep them cold. They have to be carried in hang luggage as they get too cold in hold baggage and can freeze. Frio is a good brand.

Depending on the meds you may not actually need to keep them cool anyway. It's often more about extending the shelf-life (which doesn't matter when you're already using them). Gonal f, for instance, is definitely like this. Have you checked the storage instructions on the leaflet?

Oooh I'll check. I'm using gonal f and will have to transport pregnyl too. Other than that cetrotide which can be room temperature.
Thanks teainbed I'll check the pouches too!
Thanks all x
