What should I be asking?

I have my first GP appointment on the 24th Feb to talk about help with ttc. I have PCOS and have been trying for 7 months, almost 8 without success. When I was diagnosed with PCOS 3 years ago, my GP said to not wait long as it could be harder (seems that's the case!) so that's why i'm going before the 1 year mark. What sort of questions should I be asking? Any advice would be really great to hear as feeling slightly anxious about the journey I may have to take. TIA x

Hi try not to worry. I am 28 and I have pcos and endro. My ex and i were trying for 4yrs when I found out I had pcos etc. My gynecologist was very good at the time and she put me on chlomid to help u ovulate. We unfortunately broke but a few years on I am in a loving relationship and desperate for kids but my new partner is ready yet. Its driving me insane as it could be ages before I fall (if) and found out my county doesn't do ivf on nhs :-(
All the best. Write a list to take with u with all your questions x

I also had a laposcapy to blast my cysts as full in both ovaries so that could be an option to help fall

Thanks minx

4 years is a long time, that must have been hard.
I will definitely take a list of questions with me, most of them are swimming around my brain! x

To do a sperm test as the cause may not be the pcos.
Ask about metformin, if you arent already on it.
Ensure you are in bmi range for treatment, its often under 30.
