Well done

But until I looked at the link I thought you were talking about Daley Thompson

well done to him . I always knew that he would achieve something like this, I just didn't expect it to happen so soon. What a great answer to the bullies who forced him out of his school as well. I hope the BBC give him the Sports Personality of the Year award in December - he deserves it.

southeastastra - it might be 'only diving' be Tom still deserves credit for his achievement. Remember, he was competing against adults much older and far more experienced than he is.

Good for him, although sadly I'm so old that my first thought, on reading the op, was 'Blimey! Daley Thompson's a bit old for all that malarkey isn't he?'

I am a dinosaur.

fair play.
on a sidenote isn't the "bbc sports personality of the year" the most ridiculos award going? i mean what's the criteria? and anyway if england hold out for the ashes i thing FF is already a lock for the award.

I'm really glad he got this, as it's two fingers to all the twerps at Eggbuckland Comp who didn't support him.

It also shows what some Plymouthians can do!
