This made me cry. I'm not sure I could ever be strong enough to read a letter like this addressed to me.

My DB is going out in Sept, and he has already had to write obits for all his men and women, in case anything happens to them.

I heard his Mum interviewed on the radio on Monday and nearly crashed the car because I was snivelling.

How sad - but how wonderful to have a son that expressed himself so openly and wholeheartedly in that letter he knew would be his legacy.

Read this even though i didn't want to, my db is out there at the moment and due back at Christmas. Trying not to cry but it is such a lovely, lovely letter. The situation is so complicated and it makes you realise that anything can happen out there at any time.
